About Us
The Learning Grove Childcare Centre was established in December 2003. It provides year-round affordable childcare to families of Digby and the surrounding area.
The centre is fully licensed. The programs and policies adhere to the regulations set forth by the Department of Community Services and the Department of Health.
Early Childhood Educators
We recognize the importance of early childhood education. Our teachers are trained Early Childhood Educators, which ensures that our programs meet the children’s developmental needs and interests.
Staff are certified in First Aid, CPR, and are screened through the child abuse registry and require Criminal Record Checks.
Our Centre offers programs designed to meet the unique needs for each age group:
For children 18 months to 3 years old
The toddler program provides a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the children's early growth and development.
For children 3 to 5 years old
The preschool program builds foundational skills through engaging activities that prepare them for the next stages of learning.
For children 5 to 12 years old
The after-school program offers a safe, enriching environment where the children continue to learn, socialize, and explore their interests beyond regular school hours.
